SWABHIMAN
Building dignity, strength, and opportunity for women
Every woman deserves to live with health, confidence, and independence. Join us to empower her journey.
AN INITIATIVE TOWARDS SELF CARE & SELF RESPECT
Women empowerment is not just a goal, it is the foundation of a stronger society where health, dignity, and opportunity go hand in hand.
Hamdan Foundation believes that when women are supported with care, knowledge, and resources, entire families and communities move forward together.
Swabhiman is a step towards helping women live healthier, more confident, and financially independent lives through meaningful, on-ground support.
At its core, Swabhiman follows the 4S approach that drives real and lasting change in communities.
Sensitisation for Health Seeking Behaviour
Encouraging women to prioritise their health and take timely action for their well-being.
Support for Livelihood
Helping women gain skills and opportunities that lead to financial independence.
Support through Male Involvement
Building understanding among men to actively support gender equality and women empowerment.
Sustaining Community Change
Creating long-term impact by strengthening awareness, behaviour, and access within communities.
Through Swabhiman, Hamdan Foundation works to break barriers of inequality and poverty by focusing on health, nutrition, and livelihood support for women.
The initiative aims to create women who are not just aware, but confident decision-makers in their families and communities.
6 STEPS TO
SWABHIMAN
Our path to women empowerment — health, nutrition, livelihood & lasting
dignity
Reproductive & Child Health
Hamdan Foundation focuses on improving maternal health by ensuring safe pregnancy care, newborn support, and better access to essential health services for women and children in underserved communities.
Nutrition Enhancement
Good nutrition is the first step toward a healthy life. We support mothers and children during the critical early years to reduce malnutrition and strengthen lifelong development and wellbeing.
Entrepreneurship Development
We help women turn small ideas into stable livelihoods through practical skill training and business support, especially for those starting from limited resources in rural and urban areas.
Digital Financial Literacy
Hamdan Foundation builds financial confidence by helping women understand banking, savings, and digital tools so they can manage money safely and make informed financial decisions.
Govt. Convergence & System Strengthening
We connect communities with government schemes and services, ensuring women are aware of their rights and can access the support systems designed for their wellbeing.
Sustainability in Communities
Lasting change happens when families grow together. We work with communities to shift mindsets, build support systems, and create an environment where women can thrive with dignity.
